Painting sold with a complimentary wooden frame.  Frame has gold tone filigree to compliment the gold in the painting.  The frame just needed to go with this painting!!
 
This painting was done while the artist was grieving a friend dying with cancer. While this is a raw moment to disclose, the emotions created the depth of the layers. The drips at the bottom depict the artist's tears. The other colors are the emotions of the layers of sadness through the moment. The Gold is is a reminder of the golden gates of her new home. The painting is beautiful in it's layers and depth.
 
While the story behind the inspiration was sad, the painting is stunning.  The dripping in the layers are very compelling.
