This little landscape painting reminds the artist of the times she visited the ocean.  The artist is a city girl from the busy city near Washington DC.  The ocean is a place she goes to for peace and relaxing thoughts. This painting has some texture with layers of paint, some drippings  to give the feeling of movement in the scene. There are blues, greens, grays and blends of each. Then she added the feeling of life sgriffitto and scratches
