Evidence of Blue is an expressive study of movement, release, and the moment something held too tightly finally gives way.
 
Layers of deep navy, cobalt, teal, smoky blue, soft gray, and warm cream move across the surface through sweeping gestures, scraped passages, and quieter areas of exposed light. A strong diagonal mark cuts through the upper portion of the painting, creating tension and direction, while the dense, energetic blues below suggest water, memory, and emotion in motion.
 
For me, this painting is about what happens after we have carried something for a long time. There comes a moment when the weight shifts, the surface opens, and something new is allowed to emerge.
The painting is intentionally layered and imperfect, allowing earlier marks to remain visible beneath the surface—evidence of where the painting has been before arriving here.
