Textured Perspective is a deeply personal expression of my journey through this season of change and reflection. As I worked on this piece, I found myself thinking about the years that have passed—each one leaving its mark, much like the embedded textures in this painting. The whites, blacks, and subtle beiges are not just colors; they are emotions and memories, woven together like the story of my life. Each year I have aged marks a new chapter, ones that brought joy but also stirred deep feelings about how time shapes us and how my perspective has evolved with age.
 
The layers in this piece represent the moments that define us: the light ones of laughter and love, the dark ones of challenges and growth, and the in-between spaces where there is heavy created textures, are where we reflect and rediscover. Every element in this painting—from the handmade papers to the textured fragments—carries the weight of experience and the beauty of transformation.
